Heather Landis’ practice focuses on complex business litigation matters. She has experience in commercial litigation, partnership disputes, employment contracts, and fiduciary issues that arise in and out of the context of marital dissolutions.

Prior to joining Valle Makoff LLP, Ms. Landis worked for the State Bar of California, Office of General Counsel, and the San Mateo County District Attorney's Office.

Ms. Landis earned her J.D. in 2009 from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco, California. While in law school, she was brief editor for the National Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Competition where her team's brief won first place. She also was a member of the Constitutional Law Quarterly. Ms. Landis received her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2006.
